We are a locally owned and operated fire protection company servicing Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and surrounding communities. About the Position This is primarily a service, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair position, rather than a new-construction-only role. We're looking for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys troubleshooting mechanical fire protection systems, communicates professionally with customers, and takes pride in completing work correctly and efficiently. The successful candidate will work with our experienced service team and administrative staff to provide dependable fire protection services to commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform sprinkler system inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Complete annual, three-year, and five-year sprinkler system inspections and testing.
- Troubleshoot wet, dry, pre-action, standpipe, fire pump, and related fire protection systems.
- Complete dry valve trips, internal inspections, hydrostatic testing, and system restorations.
- Diagnose system deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Perform sprinkler system modifications, repairs, and deficiency corrections.
- Accurately document completed work, materials, deficiencies, and recommendations.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, building operators, and office staff.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other team members.




- Maintain an organized service vehicle and properly care for company tools and equipment.
- Follow applicable safety requirements, codes, standards, and company procedures. Qualifications For Journeyperson Applicants:
- Valid Red Seal Sprinkler Fitter certification.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Strong experience in sprinkler system service, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
- Knowledge of applicable fire protection codes and standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate service reports and documentation.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented workplace. Previous experience with fire pumps, backflow prevention, standpipes, and specialized sprinkler systems is considered an asset.
