Job Overview Middle Sister’s Kitchen is looking for a reliable kitchen hand who is comfortable cooking a wide variety of meals in a fast-paced kitchen setting. The role requires strong multitasking abilities, clear communication skills, and a positive attitude while working as part of a small, busy team. Candidates must already have housing secured in Canmore and be available to work until the end of April 2026. Longer-term employment is possible for the right person. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on kitchen work, can follow and execute multiple recipes, and is comfortable balancing food preparation with occasional customer interaction.
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation practices to maintain hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures diligently
- Support team members in meal preparation during busy hours




- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
