Job Summary The Restaurant Assistant supports smooth daily service by helping prepare for dinner service, serve guests, remove empty glassware and plates, host, buss, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. This hands-on role contributes to a positive guest experience while helping the restaurant team work efficiently. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal service, following food-handling and food-safety practices.
- Welcome guests, communicate clearly, take orders, and support serving needs with attentive customer service.
- Process payments and operate POS systems, including Micros POS where applicable; handle cash accurately.
- Clean dining and kitchen areas, maintain orderly workspaces, and assist colleagues during busy service periods.
