Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers opportunities to work with advanced dental technology and collaborate with experienced professionals in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience with dental software such as Open Dental will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including Complex Extractions, root canals and pediatrics treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental equipment is functioning properly
- Take diagnostic dental radiographs (scanning experience is a plus)
- Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records using dental software
- Ensure patient comfort and address their questions or concerns
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed




- Maintain strict adherence to medical terminology standards and infection control protocols Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with dental software platforms
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment
