Provide critical care support at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, using recent ICU experience and ACLS certification during in-house shifts. Respond to urgent hospital needs while supervised by an attending intensivist. The Critical Care Clinical Assistant supports patients in the Critical Care Unit and assesses patients needing critical care consultation elsewhere. This resident-level position suits physicians entering or enrolled in PGY 3 programs with exposure to critically ill patients. Responsibilities include rounds, procedures, patient issue management, and Code Blue leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements:
- Enrolled or entering PGY 3 in a relevant resident program
- Exposure to critically ill patients through residency training
- Recent intensive care unit rotations completed
- ACLS completed within the past two years
