As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will architect, develop, debug, test, deploy, and maintain customer-facing firmware features. The Vehicle Intelligence team collaborates with product managers, customer support, firmware teams, and full stack engineers. Technologies include Linux, CAN, WiFi, USB, LTE, GraphQL, Buildkite, and Databricks. Your work supports safer, greener, and more efficient fleet operations through Samsara’s Diagnostics platform. Eight or more years of skilled software development experience Experience shipping production code and monitoring production systems Experience building metrics during firmware rollouts Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering Experience with large-scale observability for production systems Apply senior firmware engineering expertise across C/C++, Golang, Linux, and observability for Samsara’s connected vehicle platform.
