Senior Compliance Counsel expertise in privacy and regulatory matters supports Intact’s Canadian businesses through an 18- to 24-month contract. This Compliance Lawyer advises Intact Financial Corporation and subsidiaries on legal, regulatory, compliance, and reputational risks. The Senior Counsel collaborates with Claims, Underwriting, Brokers, Cyber and Technology, and Risk Management stakeholders. The work promotes ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal and regulatory advice on compliance and privacy matters Support regulatory engagement, reporting, committees,



and policy governance Lead compliance and privacy training and awareness initiatives Conduct privacy impact assessments and data-transfer requests Investigate and resolve compliance and privacy incidents and breaches Requirements:

Minimum eight years of relevant post-call legal experience Membership in the Quebec or Ontario bar Deep compliance, regulatory, and privacy experience Fluency in spoken and written French and English Solid judgment, communication, drafting, and problem-solving skills Apply senior legal judgment, privacy expertise, and compliance leadership while supporting Intact’s regulated Canadian operations and stakeholders.
