Lead safe Primary Utilities operations at Stelco’s Lake Erie Works in Nanticoke, Ontario, applying technical problem-solving and maintenance leadership. As Shift Manager, also identified as Shift Engineer, you will maintain facilities, equipment, and personnel safely and efficiently. You will supervise experienced technicians, apprentices, co-ops, project planners, bargaining unit personnel, service groups, and contractors. The position supports equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, technical evaluation, reporting, and coordination. Robust communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are central to the work. Key Responsibilities:

Administer the company safety program within operating facilities Promote safety through contacts, tours, investigations, and reviews Ensure environmental procedures, codes,



and standards are followed Coordinate maintenance teams repairing and maintaining mill equipment Develop preventive maintenance programs using equipment history Requirements:

TSSA 2nd class Power Engineer Certificate Two or more years’ supervisory experience strongly preferred Heavy industrial or unionized environment experience is an asset Knowledge of electrical or mechanical maintenance practices Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills Apply your Power Engineer certification, maintenance expertise, and leadership skills to Stelco’s continuous Primary Utilities operations.
