Lead public affairs for Intact Financial Corporation by tracking political issues, advising leaders, and advancing priorities across federal and provincial governments. The position is hybrid. This Manager, Government Relations role supports IFC’s influence across Canadian markets and the financial services industry. You will collaborate with Legal, Climate, Social Impact/ESG, Communications, and other business areas. Your work will connect policy monitoring, strategic communications, advocacy, and stakeholder relationships across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Identify and analyze relevant public policy initiatives Support federal and provincial government relations activities Prepare speaking notes, briefings,



and presentations Provide counsel to senior leaders and business units Keep IFC lobbying registries accurate and current Requirements:

Eight years’ government or private-sector public affairs experience Five years managing a team of direct reports Experience affecting financial services or insurance is an asset Robust organization and multitasking abilities Professionalism and strong interpersonal relationship-building skills Apply public affairs expertise, strategic communications, and policy insight while supporting Intact’s government relations priorities across Canada.
