Frontiers North Adventures seeks a Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Garage and Fleet team. Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair Tundra Buggies, vehicles, specialized equipment, and Lodge systems. The seasonal term role supports safe, reliable operations in subarctic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and drive axles
- Complete preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and pre-season overhauls
- Winterize vehicles and equipment for extreme subarctic conditions




- Respond to remote field service calls during tour operations

Requirements:

- Recognized Heavy Duty Equipment Technician apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Journeyperson certification; Red Seal preferred
- Valid Class 2 driver’s licence required or obtainable
- Hands-on diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems experience
- Remote or extreme-setting heavy equipment experience
