About the Role

Our client, a leading-edge FinTech company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote position. This role is critical for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge financial platforms. You will be instrumental in automating deployment pipelines, managing CI/CD processes, and ensuring the optimal performance of our cloud environments. Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Develop and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to optimize the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and manage security best practices within the cloud infrastructure.




- Contribute to architectural decisions related to cloud strategy and DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture and best practices within the organization.
- Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related infrastructure engineering role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services.
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative team.
