I run Signature Bookkeeping, a remote bookkeeping and tax services firm based in Montreal, working with small and medium businesses across Canada. I'm looking for an experienced AP Specialist to manage accounts payable for a multi-entity client that does business internationally.

What you'll do
• Monitor the AP inbox every business day for new bills, vendor messages, and payment requests
• Enter bills in QuickBooks Online and in Plooto or Bill.com, coded to the right entity
• Schedule payments for approval, and prepare direct wires for approval when needed
• Work directly with vendors to sort out missing invoices, past-due notices, and other issues
• Know when to handle something yourself and when to bring it to the client's team What you need
• Native or skilled English, written and spoken. You'll be talking with vendors directly.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
• Hands-on experience with Plooto or Bill.com (both is a plus)
• Experience scheduling payments through an approval workflow
• Availability within 9am to 5pm Eastern time, Monday to Friday Nice to have
