As a Senior Manager for the Pork Barn and Kill Floor, you will oversee daily operations across both areas, follow food safety guidelines, and lead safe, efficient operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Overseeing daily Pork Barn and Kill Floor operations in coordination with Farms, Planning, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Regulatory, CFIA, and other production departments
• Ensuring adherence to animal welfare standards and monitoring the humane handling of animals
• Managing safe, cost-effective, and efficient production while leveraging supervisory, quality management, maintenance, and sanitation resources
• Collaborating with the CFIA on government regulations and procedures
• Leading and participating in Continuous Improvement programs to drive productivity, reduce waste, and meet customer expectations




• Communicating openly with all departments to maintain quality standards, equipment maintenance, and on-time manufacturing
• Achieving productivity, quality, and safety targets while providing leadership for special projects To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Post-secondary education
• 5 years’ experience in progressive plant floor management in food processing operations
• On-the-floor meat processing experience
• Experience with critical events resolution
• Knowledge of animal welfare standards and CFIA regulations and procedures
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
