Work Model: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite per week ?️ Language: Fluent in English & French (Written and Spoken) Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor – Controllership to support financial reporting, technical accounting, governance, and business performance management. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in IFRS, financial controls, month-end closing, and financial analysis, along with the ability to provide strategic accounting advice and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entry reviews.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, accounting policies, and internal control requirements.
• Perform financial variance analysis and provide insights on business performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead technical accounting assessments for complex transactions and provide recommendations.
• Support accounting judgements, estimates, disclosures, and audit-related matters.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, Operations,



and senior business stakeholders.
• Identify financial reporting risks and strengthen governance and control frameworks.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization of finance operations. Required Qualifications & Skills
• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with IFRS in complex business environments.
• Expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, financial controls, and reporting.
• Strong financial analysis and variance analysis skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and provide business recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken). Important Requirements
• Must be based in or able to commute to Montreal, QC.
• Minimum 3 days onsite per week.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory. •
