Job Title: AI Platform Engineer – DevOps Experience

Halifax, Nova Scotia Work Arrangement: Onsite – 4 Days a Week Job Summary We are looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade AI/GenAI platforms while enhancing existing DevOps capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software engineering, CI/CD automation, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices, along with knowledge of AI/ML platforms, LLMOps, and MLOps. This role involves building scalable AI platform services, automating deployment workflows, improving developer experience, and enabling application teams to adopt modern DevOps and AI engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise AI/GenAI platforms supporting Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-powered applications.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TypeScript, Python, and Groovy.
• Develop reusable DevOps services and integrations to extend existing DevOps toolchains.
• Design and implement scalable LLMOps and MLOps frameworks covering: ◦ Model deployment and versioning ◦ Model monitoring and evaluation ◦ Governance and lifecycle management
• Build reusable AI platform components and services to support application development teams.
• Improve automation, deployment efficiency, and developer experience across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with application teams to promote DevOps best practices and adoption of enterprise platform services.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies through proof of concepts (POCs) and technical recommendations.
• Continuously improve existing DevOps services,



platform capabilities, and engineering standards.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. Required Technical Skills & Experience
• Strong software engineering experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on development experience with one or more programming languages: ◦ Java ◦ Python ◦ JavaScript / TypeScript ◦ C# ◦ C / C++
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automation.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of application architecture, system design, and common design patterns.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI platforms, Large Language Models (LLMs), LLMOps, and MLOps.
• Understanding of model deployment, monitoring, versioning, evaluation, and governance.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. Preferred Skills
• Experience building or supporting enterprise AI/GenAI platforms.
• Exposure to LLM deployment, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services into existing DevOps and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Experience developing reusable platform engineering solutions and automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of developer experience (DevEx) and platform engineering principles. Candidate Profile
