We're hiring an OT Cybersecurity Specialist in Saskatoon. You will design, build and maintain the security of our clients' industrial control networks, working alongside our systems integration team. About Shockwave Automation Shockwave Automation is an industrial automation and OT/IT integrator based in Saskatoon, with remote locations in Calgary and Grande Prairie. We deploy DCS integration, PLC and RTU programming, OT/IT convergence and Full Network Stack Dployments, instrumentation design, panel fabrication and server virtualization.

What you'll do
• Design and build network segmentation and firewalls on Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto
• Secure the Windows and Linux servers and virtualization hosts behind the control system
• Protect control systems running ABB 800xA, DeltaV, PlantPAx and Ignition
• Manage SQL databases, backups and recovery for OT systems
• Work with our integrators so security is built into each project Platforms we work with
• Networks: Fortinet, Moxa, Hirschmann, Cisco, Palo Alto, Nazomi
• Servers: Windows, Linux, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Proxmox
• Data: SQL and database management
• DCS: ABB 800xA, Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell PlantPAx
• HMI and SCADA: 800xA, DeltaV Live,

experience:
• Information Technology and Operational Technology
• Computer Science or Computer Engineering Cybersecurity training minimums Required when you start:
• Annual security awareness training
• CISA ICS virtual training, 100W to 300 series
• Fortinet Certified Fundamentals in Cybersecurity
• One of CompTIA Security+, Fortinet FCP Network Security, Cisco CCNA or Palo Alto PCNSA
• ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Preferred:
• GIAC GICSP or GRID
• ISA/IEC 62443 Risk Assessment or Design Specialist
• CISSP
