As an Insured Annuities Technician, you will play a key role in providing administrative support and ensuring the accurate processing of insured annuities for our plan members. What You’ll Accomplish With Us As an Insured Annuities Technician, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Enter and process transactions in various financial and administrative systems and perform reconciliations between them;
• Conduct thorough follow-ups on annuitant files and respond to various requests from customer service and plan members;
• Analyze documents related to insured annuities and payable benefits, calculate overpayments using Excel, and process files, including those related to the death of a plan member;
• Interpret insured annuity contracts as well as the laws and regulations applicable to pension plans;
• Perform annual and related tasks associated with the administration of insured annuities;
• Communicate in writing with plan members as needed;
• Actively participate in reviewing and optimizing processes using a continuous improvement (LEAN) approach and various job-aid tools. What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a college diploma or equivalent credential in a related field;
• Has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience related to the position;
• Is recognized for their thoroughness, attention to detail,



and accuracy;
• Stands out for their autonomy and ability to collaborate within a passionate team;
• Is highly comfortable working with numbers and has strong mathematical skills;
• Is recognized for their analytical skills and strong writing abilities;
• Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to communicate in writing with unilingual English-speaking internal partners on a daily basis;
