Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Chocolate Sales Connoisseur to join our sales team at our shop in The Rise on Cambie. You will produce sales and profits by achieving sales goals and by providing excellent customer service.

You’ll connect with customers, learn what they’re looking for and confidently recommend products that meet their needs. You’ll use sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling, introduce customers to current products, promotions and campaigns, and encourage participation in initiatives.

This position is a excellent opportunity to expand your experience in retail while selling our award-winning chocolate products.

This is a permanent part-time position that requires availability for all types of shifts (days,



evenings, weekends, and holidays).

You will be a good fit if you are:

- Passionate about providing a great customer experience

- Comfortable approaching customers, starting conversations and identifying their needs

- Enthusiastic about selling and recommending quality products

- Motivated by achieving sales goals and contributing to your shop’s success

- Confident using upselling and cross-selling techniques

- Excited to introduce customers to new products, promotions and seasonal campaigns

- Comfortable inviting customers to participate in programs and initiatives

- Excited about working with a team and building a career and growing within Purdys Chocolatier

- Available for all types of shifts.

- Previous retail experience is an asset.
