Drive financial reporting accuracy as an Accountant with Lush in Vancouver, using reconciliations and variance analysis in a hybrid role. Support accounting operations across North America.

This full-time Accountant supports Lush Handmade Cosmetics and its Accounting and Finance teams. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and contribute to month-end close activities. The work spans Digital, Retail, Manufacturing, and Admin/Corporate business streams across North America. You will also maintain variance review files, support financial statements, and help ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly reporting journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis against the month-end close calendar




- Maintain monthly variance review files and GL account mapping
- Reconcile prepaids, operating expenses, deposits, and retail inventory
- Support audits through documentation and cross-department coordination

Requirements:

- CPA designation or enrollment in the CPA PEP program
- Three or more years of accounting experience
- Month-end close experience in a multi-entity workplace
- Lease accounting experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under time pressure
