Role Description The Online ESL Tutor is a full-time remote role focused on delivering high-quality English language instruction to learners in corporate and professional settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting live online classes, facilitating one-on-one or small group sessions, and adapting teaching materials to learners’ proficiency levels and business needs. The tutor prepares lesson plans, assigns and reviews homework, provides timely feedback on language use and progress,



and maintains accurate records of attendance and performance.

The role also involves using digital teaching platforms, incorporating interactive methods to enhance learner engagement, and collaborating with Carrot Global staff to ensure consistent quality and alignment with program objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Online Tutoring and Tutoring.
- Candidates should possess effective classroom and virtual Teaching skills.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English, with clear and professional communication.
- Experience teaching adult or business learners, preferably in an online or blended environment.
- Familiarity with common online teaching tools and learning management systems.
- Relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Robust intercultural awareness, reliability in remote work settings, and the ability to manage schedules across time zones.
