As a Traveling Oral Surgeon, you'll have the opportunity to provide specialized surgical care across multiple Platinum Dental locations while working alongside trained oral surgery assistants and supportive clinical teams.

Location: Denver

Schedule: Up to 10 days/month, traveling specialist. Days adaptable across offices, approx. 8 AM - 5 PM.

What You'll Do

As a Traveling Oral Surgeon, you'll provide specialized surgical care across assigned Platinum Dental locations, helping patients achieve better oral health outcomes through safe, effective treatment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Travel between assigned dental office locations to provide specialized oral surgery services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients requiring oral surgical care
- Perform tooth extractions, including complex and impacted third molar extractions
- Perform other oral surgical procedures within your training, clinical privileges, and expertise
- Evaluate diagnostic imaging and patient medical histories to determine appropriate treatment
- Educate patients on surgical procedures, treatment options, potential risks, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate referrals and comprehensive treatment plans
- Work alongside trained oral surgery assistants to ensure efficient, high-quality surgical care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow established infection control, patient safety, and surgical protocols
- Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, clinical excellence,



and patient-centered care
- Support a positive patient experience through explicit communication, compassion, and professionalism

What We're Looking For

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental program
- Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program
- Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure before starting
- Minimum of 3 years of oral surgery experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and treatment-planning skills
- Commitment to providing safe, ethical, high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general dentists, specialists, and clinical support teams
- Willingness and ability to travel between assigned dental office locations
- A positive, professional attitude and commitment to continued clinical excellence
