About the Client:

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a client who has experienced a traumatic brain injury with significant sensory impairments—half blind and half deaf, with the right side most affected. They use a walker or wheelchair for mobility and require daily support to maintain safety, comfort, and independence at home.

Delegation from nurse required for some medication administration, must be comfortable with this.

Responsibilities:

- Provide mobility assistance with walker/wheelchair throughout the day
- Support with personal care including bathing and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medication reminders and ensure proper medication management
- Provide cognitive supervision and safety monitoring due to brain injury
- Perform light housekeeping and tidying
- Provide transportation for errands and medical appointments
- Communicate clearly and consistently with family members

What We're Looking For:

- Experience working with clients who have traumatic brain injuries
- Proven ability to assist with mobility devices (walkers/wheelchairs)
- Comfortable providing personal care and bathing support
- Strong cognitive supervision skills and safety awareness
- Experience supporting clients with sensory impairments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Patient, calm demeanor with positive energy
- Reliable, consistent, and takes initiative when needed
- Respects client independence while ensuring safety





The family is seeking a replacement caregiver because their current arrangement isn't working out. They need someone who can provide more consistent care with better communication and reliability. The client's needs have changed and require more specialized support from someone with the right skills and experience.

Schedule:

Client receives Daily care needed Monday through Friday, morning shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This position is for backup when replacements/additional care needed.
