Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Project Leader

Location: Ontario, Canada

Work Arrangement: Onsite – 5 Days a Week

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Leader to manage large-scale, complex I⁢ and Audio-Visual (AV) projects across enterprise and multi-ministry environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project delivery, audio-visual systems, videoconferencing, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage multiple medium-to-large-scale AV and I⁢ projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Develop project charters, project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and communication plans.
- Manage project teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee AV systems, videoconferencing, VoIP, telecommunications, network infrastructure, and IT deployments.
- Manage procurement activities, vendor negotiations, contracts, and equipment acquisition.
- Coordinate system installation, configuration, quality assurance, functionality testing, and commissioning.
- Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.




- Develop business cases, proposals, presentations, and Treasury Board / Management Board submissions.
- Coordinate client handover, documentation, project sign-off, and final project closure.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 10 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Audio-Visual and Videoconferencing technology experience.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, videoconferencing, VoIP, telecommunications, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience managing complex enterprise I⁢ and AV implementation projects.
- Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, contract administration, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Experience with project planning, risk management, change management, quality assurance, and system testing.
- Robust leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Minimum 5 years of Public Sector experience.

Nice to Have

- Previous Ontario Public Service (OPS) experience.
- Justice Sector experience.
- Experience working on large-scale government or multi-ministry projects.
