We are seeking a ServiceNow ITOM consultant for a 1 year remote contract position starting in December, or January if necessary.

Role Description / Key Responsibilities:

The ITOM Specialist will support the planning, design and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, with a focus on Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM 5.0. This is a hands-on project role requiring strong technical knowledge combined with the ability to facilitate workshops, develop implementation approaches, and work across technical teams to deliver solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and facilitate technical planning, requirements and design workshops.
- Translate requirements into practical solution designs and implementation plans.
- Configure and implement ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, credentials, schedules and related ITOM capabilities.
- Support implementation and improvement of the CMDB, including CI relationships, IRE, CSDM and data quality.
- Work with server, network, security, cloud and application teams to identify and resolve technical dependencies.
- Configuring CMDB health Dashboard, Ci Class Manager.
- Troubleshoot Discovery, connectivity,



credential and configuration issues.
- Develop testing, validation and deployment approaches.
- Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to operational teams.
- Identify risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement throughout implementation

Skills/experience:

- Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery and CMDB implementation experience.
- Experience leading or facilitating technical workshops.
- Hands on Experience is modifying OOB Patterns
- Robust understanding of MID Servers, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, and CSDM.
- Good infrastructure knowledge across Windows/Linux, networking, VMware and cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, solution design and stakeholder engagement skills.
- ServiceNow ITOM/Discovery/Service Mapping/CMDB certifications are desirable.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator ( CSA )

Certified Implementation Specialist -Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM )(CIS-DF)

Certified Implementation Specialist-Discovery (CIS-Discovery)
