Provide direct resident care as a part-time Personal Support Worker at Tendercare Living Centre in Scarborough, Ontario. Support up to eight residents under Registered Staff direction.

Extendicare seeks a Personal Support Worker for temporary part time casual work in its 204-bed long-term care home. The position supports residents' physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs through personal and nursing care. Duties include ambulation, feeding, bathing, grooming, activities, meals, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care under Registered Staff direction
- Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
- Support activities, meal service, and nourishment delivery
- Provide emotional and social support,



including palliative care
- Participate in care conferences and resident documentation

Requirements:

- Completed PSW, HCA, or CCA certification program
- Long-term care or community home care experience preferred
- Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation
- Ability to communicate positively with residents and families
- Ability to read and write English and follow instructions
