M7 Group is a cross-border accounting, tax, and advisory firm serving clients across Canada, the United States. We are growing our Ontario tax team and looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join us in the office.

Location and schedule

- 391-7250 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Full-time, in-office only (this is not a remote or hybrid role)

What you will do

- Prepare and file T2 corporate tax returns, including GIFI, schedules, and year end adjustments
- Prepare and file T1 personal tax returns for individuals, self-employed clients, and shareholders
- Prepare supporting filings such as T4, T5, and GST/HST returns
- Review client bookkeeping and source documents for accuracy before filing
- Respond to CRA review letters and requests for information with guidance from senior staff
- Communicate with clients to collect missing information and explain filing results
- Meet filing deadlines and keep client files organized in our practice management system (Odoo)

Requirements





- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience preparing and filing T2 and T1 returns
- Working knowledge of Canadian tax software (Taxpro, Profile, or similar)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files during tax season
- Able to work on site in Concord, Monday to Friday

Assets

- Experience with US tax filings (1040, 1120, 1065, 1040NR, state returns)
- Knowledge of cross-border issues such as Section 216, T2062, or non-resident filings
- French language skills
- Experience with Odoo or QuickBooks Online
