This Area Vice President will be responsible for inspirational sales leadership and management of growth within the Financial Services Business Unit (Enterprise) in Canada, through rapidly growing top-line revenues and driving new business through the implementation of scalable, repeatable, structured systems and processes.What You'll Actually Be Doing
Will help to set and implement Salesforce’s Canada Financial Services sales strategy. This executive will assume the leadership of a growing sales organization including Regional Vice Presidents (RVP), and Account Executives (AE) to help steer complex deal transactionsSet and execute an ambitious customer acquisition strategy to generate growth in revenue and bookingsMaintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the Canadian Enterprise customer base within the Financial Services industryMaintain strong reporting and accountability against numbers, driving to exceed quotas, while developing and managing motivating incentive toolsAct as a strategic thought leader and advisor to the SVP,

1st or 2nd line leadership experience leading teams in strategic salesDeep industry expertise in the Financial Services sectorConsistent overachievement of quota and revenue goalsSolid track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high performing sales organizations12+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in a CRM, ERP and/or otherwise relevant software company), selling primarily to the CxO levelProven ability to drive transformational change across a large organization: understands the drivers of how to change a culture, assess performance, continuously refresh a sales organization and build capabilityExcellent operational and analytical abilitiesConsistent track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customersDynamic and robust sales execution mindset with a passion for a fast-paced growing environmentShown success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing relationships across all functionsChampions diversity of team, thought, and opinion with a demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse team membersDegree or equivalent relevant experience required.
