As an OHS Specialist, you will serve as the local safety contact for everyday matters. The work includes maintaining OHS programs, assessing hazards, coordinating permits, and supporting researchers, trades, contractors, and supervisors. You will help translate safety requirements into field practices at Canada's particle accelerator centre.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support OHS policies, procedures, and programs
- Review permits and verify conditions onsite
- Conduct inspections, audits, and hazard identification
- Track corrective actions through verified closure
- Support emergency response, drills, and investigations

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of progressive OHS field experience
- Experience with inspections and corrective action tracking
- Knowledge of OHS regulations and industrial procedures
