About the Role

Our client, an innovative non-profit organization committed to empowering young people through skills development and mentorship, is seeking a dynamic Remote Youth Development Facilitator. Working entirely remotely, you will connect with young individuals across various regions, guiding them through interactive online sessions, providing mentorship, and facilitating their journey towards positive futures. Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging virtual workshops and training sessions for young people focused on life skills, career readiness, and personal development.
- Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to youth participants, offering guidance and support.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials for online delivery, ensuring they are age-appropriate and effective.
- Facilitate online group discussions, activities, and collaborative projects.
- Monitor participant progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements.
- Maintain open and proactive communication with participants, parents/guardians (where applicable), and program management.
- Utilize various digital tools and platforms to create an interactive and supportive online learning environment.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of current participants for youth development programs.




- Collect feedback from participants to continuously improve program delivery.
- Contribute to program evaluation by documenting activities and participant outcomes.

Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Youth Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with youth, preferably in a facilitation, coaching, or mentoring capacity.
- Proven experience in delivering engaging online programs or workshops.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young people virtually.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development, challenges faced by youth, and positive youth development principles.
- Proficiency with online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet) and learning management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a structured remote work environment.
- Creative and adaptable approach to program delivery.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
