Musical Minds Academy is a growing, skilled music academy in Surrey offering piano and music education for children and teens. We are organized, high-standard, and student-focused, and we are looking for a reliable Studio Assistant to support our operations during peak times.

This role is ideal for someone who is efficient, responsible, and comfortable handling phone calls while also doing hands-on studio tasks.

Phone & Lead Support

- Answer incoming calls during scheduled shifts
- Collect basic information from parents (student age, instrument, availability)
- Book trial lessons using preset guidelines or log leads for follow-up
- Accurately log all calls and inquiries

Studio Operations

- Prepare the studio before lessons (cleaning, setup, organization)
- Light cleaning and sanitizing (keyboards, floors, waiting areas)
- Assist with room setup and resets during lessons
- Ensure the studio is tidy and ready for classes
- Complete end-of-shift closing tasks

Schedule Details

- Mondays afternoon approximately 3 to 4 hours
- Saturdays morning approximately 3 to 4 hours
- Total weekly hours range from 6 to 12
- Additional hours may be offered as the academy grows

What We Are Looking For

- Friendly dependable and organized
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with parents
- Able to follow clear instructions and checklists
- Takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organized
- Able to work independently once trained

Assets but Not Required

- Mandarin or other languages such as Cantonese or Korean
- Customer service or administrative experience
- Experience working with children or families
