Waves Coffee House is looking for passionate, energetic and responsible long term baristas to join our team on Highgate Burnaby (Kingsway and Edmonds)

Responsibilities :

- General Customer Service - Make hot or cold beverages; Serve drinks and cookies/sandwiches to customers
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
- Clean service or seating areas.
- Weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for customers.
- Opening and Closing
- Checkfreezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment's temperatures to ensure proper function.

Requirements :

- Steadily able to work at least 3 shifts in a week
- Preferable with previously experience in coffee shops or restaurants, but not a must.(Training will be provided)
- FoodSafe level 1 is an asset but not required
- Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Standing/ Walking at least 7 hours
