JBWS is hiring Domestic Violence Liaisons to provide case consultation within the Passaic County Program. The position supports nonoffending parents and children while helping DCP&P; staff identify needs and appropriate interventions. Collaboration and flexibility are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Consult with DCP&P; staff on domestic violence cases
Model best practices when working with families
Present information and mentor local staff
Train DCP&P; offices according to DCF standards
Document services under DCP&P; and JBWS standards
Requirements: AA with five years domestic violence experience
Preferred DV Specialist certification from NJ Board
Preferred 40-hour domestic violence training
Strong communication and concise documentation skills
Ability to manage interruptions and multiple tasks
