Schlegel Villages is hiring a Food Services Manager until March 2027. The position supports resident-centered hospitality while leading the food services department and its large unionized team. Responsibilities include food purchasing, financial planning, diet requirements, regular assessments, catering, department schedules, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality hospitality services to residents
Lead food services operations with hands-on coaching
Plan and support Village catering functions
Create enhanced dining experiences for residents




Complete nutritional assessments and manage department administration
Requirements: Proven large-quantity food preparation experience
Food purchasing and financial planning experience
Leadership experience within a unionized food services team
Familiarity with Ontario long-term care requirements
Active C.S.N.M. membership and required screening clearance
