Support clean, secure learning spaces at Okanagan College through routine custodial work, floor care, and safe equipment handling on evening shifts.
As a regular full-time Cleaner, you will provide cleaning and maintenance services under the supervision of the Manager, Property and Custodial Services. The Monday-to-Friday schedule runs from 4:30pm to 12:00am, with shifts varying according to operational needs. Your work supports classrooms, offices, washrooms, hallways, furniture, and equipment across the College.
Key Responsibilities: Clean classrooms, offices, washrooms, hallways, and other surfaces
Wet mop, scrub, vacuum, dust, and polish floors
Maintain furniture and equipment in orderly, safe condition
Maintain building security and janitorial supply stocks
Remove snow from steps and walkways
Requirements: Completion of secondary school through Grade 10
Custodial Worker certificate
Over six months up to one year related experience
Secure use of cleaning equipment and materials
Physical ability and effective interpersonal relationships
Bring dependable custodial skills, courtesy, and safe cleaning practices to Okanagan College’s evening campus operations.
