HVAC/R Service Technician — 2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman

What you’ll do

- Diagnose, service and repair residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, heating, cooling and control systems.
- Complete repairs, replacements, installations and equipment retrofits.
- Explain your findings and present customers with clear, appropriate options.
- Complete electronic service reports and job documentation.




- Maintain a clean vehicle and job site and work to a high standard of safety and workmanship.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

What we’re looking for

- A 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprentice, or a certified journeyman.
- HVAC/R service experience and troubleshooting skills appropriate to your training level.
- The ability to read wiring diagrams and equipment documentation.
- Professional communication and a customer-first approach.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to service calls in the Okanagan.

A gas ticket is an asset.
