About the Role

We're looking for a skilled, passionate and dependable Barista who takes pride in their craft and brings a positive, professional attitude to work.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages, including espresso, cortado, flat white, cappuccino, latte and specialty coffees.
- Demonstrate knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, dosing, tamping and flavour consistency.
- Confidently steam and texture dairy and alternative milks, with basic latte art skills.
- Prepare matcha, chai, smoothies, iced coffees, cold brews, seasonal drinks and signature beverages.
- Follow recipes, measurements and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders and beverage stations to high cleanliness and operational standards.
- Deliver warm, attentive guest service, confidently explaining menu offerings and company policies.
- Process orders accurately using POS systems and manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Proactively support food service, table clearing, restocking and overall floor presentation.
- Follow opening, closing, food safety, hygiene and daily operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively,



take initiative and maintain composure during peak service.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous barista experience, ideally in a specialty coffee or quality-focused café environment.
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing and beverage quality.
- Experience preparing specialty, seasonal and blended beverages is an asset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Smart Serve and Food Handler certifications are considered assets, not requirements.
