Barista & Front Counter Associate The Sweet Magnolia Coffee & Creperie Café – Salmon Arm, BC Job Type: Part-time Hours: Approximately 25–27 hours per week Schedule: 4 days per week, 8:45 AM – 3:00/3:30 PM Saturday availability is required.

About Us The Sweet Magnolia is an independently owned café specializing in specialty coffees, sweet and savoury crepes, and homemade food. As we prepare to welcome customers into our beautiful new location, we're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team!

The Position

We're looking for someone who can comfortably switch between working as a barista and managing our front counter. During quieter periods, you'll be responsible for taking orders, preparing beverages, and keeping the front running smoothly. During busy periods, you'll work alongside another team member, sharing responsibilities between the coffee station and front till. This is a hands-on position where teamwork, efficiency, and initiative are essential.

Responsibilities - Greet customers and provide excellent customer service - Take orders and process payments - Prepare espresso drinks, specialty coffees, teas,



and other beverages - Manage the till and coffee station independently when needed - Serve food and assist with customer orders - Maintain a clean, organized café - Restock supplies and complete daily opening and closing tasks - Support teammates during busy rushes - Take initiative and recognize what needs to be done What We're Looking For - Friendly, outgoing, and professional - Reliable, punctual, and hardworking - Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure - Comfortable working independently - Strong communication and customer service skills - Willing to learn and take direction - Previous café or barista experience is an asset, but not required - Must be available to work Saturdays Why Join Us?
