Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities diligently
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety for both parties




- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Strong background in patient care, senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus for travel between client homes
