Job Summary

We are an established dental practice in a state of the art facility, seeking a dedicated and skilled dental assistant to join our dynamic team. We provide competitive pay along with extended health and dental benefits. This postion is for a full-time marternity leave that requires applicants be available weekdays, evenings and some weekends.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care.




- Sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment areas to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage patient flow in the office.

Skills

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Experienced in fabricating night guards, bleach trays and other oral appliances

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
