House Cleaner (Independent Contractor), Guelph

About the role

OneStop is looking for experienced, reliable house cleaners to take residential cleaning bookings in Guelph. This is flexible, on-demand freelance work, not an employee role. You accept the bookings that fit your schedule, and we handle finding the customers.

What you’ll do

- Clean apartments, condos, and houses to a high standard, with attention to detail
- Bring and use your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Arrive on time and finish jobs efficiently

Requirements
- 1+ year of paid cleaning experience (cleaning company, hotel housekeeping, janitorial, Airbnb turnovers, or self-employed with clients). Only personal or family cleaning doesn’t count.
- Residential / in-home cleaning experience, not only offices
- Your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Based in or within about 30 minutes of Guelph
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence, or reliable transit if you can carry your own supplies
- Comfortable working as an independent contractor

- Working phone number and email on your resume

Nice to have Deep-clean, move-out, or Airbnb experience, work to a checklist or standard (cleaning company, hotel, franchise), your own repeat clients, supervisor, trainer, or quality-check experience, and WHMIS or chemical-handling training. Candidates with 5+ years of experience.

Pay and schedule

Paid per booking, with rates based on job size and duration. The more bookings you complete, the more you earn. You choose your hours and can accept or decline bookings. No fixed commitment and no fixed salary.

How we select

Resumes are screened against the requirements above. Shortlisted candidates get a phone call. Before regular work, we’ll also ask for 2 references from paid work, your own CGL insurance, a criminal record check, a signed Independent Contractor Agreement, and a short paid trial job.
