Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, for accurate order taking and cash handling
- Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe workplace for staff and guests
- Assist with food handling, serving, and upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts




- Support team members with time management to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods

Requirements

- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Willingness to learn about food industry standards, serving techniques, and upselling strategies
