Responsibilities

- Design, verify, and seal engineering plans for piling, foundations, and retaining structures (such as soldier pile/Berlin walls).
- Act as a technical expert to ensure compliance and safety on our construction sites.
- Provide advanced technical support to project managers in developing permanent corrective solutions.
- Support field operations and after-sales service teams when facing technical challenges.
- Supervise and provide technical mentorship to a team of drafters, engineers, and technicians, actively contributing to their training and professional development.
- Participate in the development of technical policies and advise leadership during management committee meetings to guide the evolution of the company's practices.

Qualifications

- University degree in Civil Engineering (Structural profile) or a related field.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)—essential for project compliance and safety.
- 10 years of relevant experience, with a significant focus on structural design, underpinning, or foundation engineering.
- Proven technical proficiency in load calculations and the evaluation of complex plans.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to act as a mentor.
