About HERO Performance Health

HERO Performance Health is a Calgary-based sports performance and rehabilitation clinic built for elite competitive youth athletes and the parents who are all-in on supporting their kids’ dreams. We combine clinical treatment with functional movement expertise to keep young athletes performing and injury-free. We're currently growing fast and building toward multi-sport care for gymnasts, hockey players, dancers, figure skaters, and more.

About Dr. Kyle Ryley

Dr. Kyle Ryley (DTCM, R.Ac) is HERO's co-founder and lead practitioner — a former national-level competitive gymnast, high performance gymnastics coach, and current Team Alberta medical staff member. He built HERO around a simple idea: elite young athletes deserve sports medicine built specifically for them, not adapted from general practice. You'll work directly alongside him, with hands-on mentorship in treating elite young athletes — not a hands-off referral relationship down the hall.

Why Join HERO

- Work directly & indirectly alongside Dr. Kyle Ryley in a niche, high-performing sports clinic — this is a true ground-floor opportunity to help build the clinical team from day one
- Hands-on mentorship from Dr. Kyle Ryley — learn his approach to elite athlete care and integrated treatment planning directly, not from a distance
- Flexible part-time schedule — evenings and weekends, 8–12 hours/week to start, with forecasted growth in 2027 and beyond through our community partnerships
- Paid bi-weekly team case review, with real cases, shared problem-solving, and mentorship from Dr. Ryley. Lunch is on us
- Room to grow as we expand into new sports and, eventually, current locations
- A tight-knit, mission-driven team focused on keeping young athletes healthy and performing

- Hiring process includes one paid trial shift before a final offer
- Practitioner is responsible for their own professional liability insurance and College of Acupuncturists of Alberta dues
