safe arrival and dismissal procedures.
- Support meals, washroom, dressing, rest and outdoor routines with calm, respectful interactions and positive guidance.
- Follow health, safety, cleaning and medical procedures, respond to incidents and complete accurate records. Administer medication only when trained, authorized and assigned.
- Share daily-care updates with families, protect confidentiality and refer developmental, program or policy questions to the RECE or Supervisor.
- Work with the program team, participate in required training and seek assistance when a task exceeds your training or assigned responsibilities.
- Fulfil your duty to report child-protection concerns directly to a Children’s Aid Society without delaying or delegating the report.

You are qualified if you have:

- An Early Childhood Assistant or Early Childhood Education certificate, diploma or degree.
