Platinum Security Guards Inc. is hiring a Security Guard / Concierge for a high-end, high-rise residential condominium located in Oakville.

NEWLY LICENSED / ENTRY-LEVEL CANDIDATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY.

Previous condominium experience is not required. We are prepared to train the right candidate according to our company standards and site procedures.

We are more interested in finding someone who is professional, presentable, well-mannered, reliable, attentive, willing to learn, and genuinely interested in stable employment.

ABOUT THE SITE

This is a busy, high-end residential condominium with more than 500 residential units and significant daily resident, visitor, contractor, delivery, and parcel traffic.

The Security Guard / Concierge works at the front desk and represents both the condominium and Platinum Security Guards when interacting with residents and visitors.

PROFESSIONAL UNIFORM This is a high-end condominium environment. The site uniform consists of:

- Blazer
- Dress shirt and tie
- Waistcoat
- Dress pants
- Dress shoes

Candidates must be comfortable maintaining a high standard of personal grooming and keeping their uniform clean and presentable throughout every shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Front desk security and concierge duties
- Resident, visitor, and contractor access control
- Parcel and delivery management
- Parking administration
- CCTV monitoring




- Regular building patrols
- Maintaining Daily Occurrence Reports
- Preparing Incident Reports when required
- Using computers and site security/reporting systems
- Responding professionally to residents' questions and concerns
- Following condominium rules and site procedures
- Responding appropriately to alarms and emergencies
- Learning the basic operation of the building fire alarm system
- Making fire/emergency announcements when required
- Following post orders and supervisor instructions

REQUIREMENTS

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Good spoken and written English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to write clear reports
- Reliable commute to the Sheppard & Don Mills area
- Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
- Willingness to learn and complete site-specific training

EXPERIENCE

- Prior exposure to law enforcement, security operations, or surveillance activities is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential security risks or suspicious activity.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling sensitive situations professionally.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with visitors, staff, and emergency responders.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety, loss prevention, and customer service excellence.
