Skilled Cook / Chef

Hourly Wage: $24–$26, based on experience

We are a seasonal destination restaurant with a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. We take pride in serving consistent, high-quality food efficiently, even during our busiest periods. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong kitchen skills, and enjoys being part of a hardworking, team-oriented kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation, cooking and plating.
- Prepare and serve menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage assigned kitchen stations, ensuring they are properly stocked, organized and ready for service.
- Follow established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Properly store, label and rotate food products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Follow kitchen procedures, food safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen throughout each shift.
- Work safely and cooperatively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with standard cooking techniques, including grilling, baking and general food preparation.




- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
- Good time management, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed.
- Willingness to learn new recipes, procedures and techniques.
- A positive attitude, reliability and pride in producing quality food.

Compensation & Eligibility
- $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have valid work authorization.
