About Us
Printer Ready Corporation specializes in refurbishing commercial-grade printers, computers, and office electronics. We extend the practical life of equipment through professional testing, repair, refurbishment, and quality assurance.
We are looking for an Experienced Refurbishment Technician who combines strong technical skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and refurbish commercial printers, computers, and related equipment.
- Identify hardware and functional problems, determine their causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Restore equipment to reliable working condition and established cosmetic and functional standards.
- Perform cleaning, disassembly, component replacement, reassembly, configuration, and testing.
- Evaluate equipment condition, repair feasibility, and refurbishment requirements.
- Complete the refurbishment process from initial inspection through final testing, quality verification, and packaging.
- Maintain accurate records of technical findings, repairs, parts used, and completed work in our ERP system.
- Identify recurring problems, recommend improvements, and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Technical Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience repairing or refurbishing printers, computers, or comparable electronic equipment.
- Strong understanding of hardware components, equipment operation, and troubleshooting principles.
- Ability to diagnose problems systematically rather than relying solely on established repair routines.
- Proficiency with technical tools, diagnostic procedures, and component replacement.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and learn unfamiliar equipment independently.
- Experience with commercial laser printers, multifunction printers, or business-class computers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with inventory management, repair documentation, or ERP systems is an asset.
What We Offer
- Full-time employment with an established refurbishment business.
- Competitive compensation based on demonstrated skills and experience.
- Opportunities for technical certification, professional development, and advancement.
- Exposure to a broad range of commercial equipment and technical challenges.
- A collaborative working environment that values initiative, responsibility, and professional workmanship.
Who We Are Looking For We are particularly interested in technicians who have progressed beyond simply following instructions.
The ideal candidate can independently assess equipment, understand underlying problems, determine appropriate actions, and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
We recognize that no technician knows every product or every repair procedure. What matters is a strong technical foundation, sound judgment, willingness to learn, and the ability to take responsibility for professional results.
