About the Opportunity

We are seeking a volunteer with a background or interest in fashion design, apparel development, or textile technology to support our early-stage exploration of accessible clothing.

We are looking for someone to offer practical guidance and hands-on experience as we translate early concepts into feasible clothing designs.

Key Areas of Support

Depending on your expertise and availability, you may assist with:

- Clothing Design: Providing feedback on concepts, garment construction, functionality, and design feasibility.
- Materials & Fabrics: Advising on suitable fabrics, textile properties, comfort, durability, and sourcing options.
- Technical Development: Supporting the creation or review of tech packs, specifications, measurements, and manufacturing requirements.
- Prototyping & Manufacturing: Offering guidance on sample development, production methods, and potential manufacturing partners.
- General Consultation: Helping identify technical considerations, challenges, and practical next steps throughout the design process.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from both students and experienced professionals who have:

- Education or experience in fashion design, apparel development, textiles, or a related field.




- Familiarity with garment construction, materials, or technical design.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in collaborating with a founder from a non-technical background.
- An interest in accessible or adaptive clothing (an asset, but not required).

You do not need experience in every area listed above. We are happy to tailor the opportunity to your particular expertise.
