We are hiring for a Full-Time Fresh Food Department Manager with a total compensation of $75,000+ in Edmonton.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts - Oversee and execute daily department production to ensure high product quality, freshness, and optimal stock levels - Merchandise products for promotional and seasonal displays - Schedule department team members ensuring production and customer needs are met - Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed - Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance team - Train, develop, and motivate department team members - Resolve customer and department concerns & complaints, and provide a positive customer experience - Maintain a clean and sanitized work area - Champion the Freson Bros.

- 2 years minimum of progressive grocery, retail fresh department, butcher shop, bakery, deli, or restaurant management experience - A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a fast-paced retail or food service environment - Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace - Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills - A passion for leading and developing others - Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs - Willingness to relocate to rural Alberta is an asset Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development. #FBOPS
