Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Full Time and Part Time Sales Associates to join our vibrant retail team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, demonstrating product features, and guiding them through their purchasing decisions. Your energy and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment where customers & their pets feel valued and inspired to explore our diverse product offerings.

Whether working full-time or part-time, your contribution will be vital in driving sales and fostering customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers & their pets warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Upsell additional items by identifying customer preferences and recommending complementary products
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured products
- Manage inventory levels on the sales floor, restock shelves, and assist with stock organization




- Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions, store policies, and product perks

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Enjoy working with animals and their owners
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional appearance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills, including etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs bags repetitively as needed in a retail environment

Pay: $17.10-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 40.0 per week
